Tips ini untuk para pemula yang belajar pada awal-awal bermain biola. Pada sebelumnya saya telah memperkenalkan bagian-bagian biola dan posisi dasar bermain biola. Pada awalnya pemula akan sulit menguasai posisi dasar bermain biola, namun bila dilatih maka akan mudah. Setelah berhasil menguasai posisi dasar secara sempurna kemudian dimulai dari latihan bermain biola dasar. Bagaimana melakukannya? Tidak sulit! Pada awalnya latihan dimulai dari hanya menggesek senar A. Senar A terletak pada urutan ke 2 setelah senar E, dilihat dari senar G terletak pada urutan ke 3. Bisa dilihat contoh gambar senar A dari gambar senar A biola dibawah ini.
Latihan dilakukan dengan cara menggesek senar A secara berulang-ulang.
Latihan dilakukan dalam durasi awal-awal 15 menit setiap hari. (Latihan ini dapat ditambah durasinya sesuai dengan kemampuan masing-masing pribadi)
Lakukanlah latihan ini dengan ketukan:

• 4 ketuk/*bow
• 2 ketuk/bow
• 1 ketuk/bow
• 1/2 ketuk/bow

*keterangan: per bow = per satu gesekan penuh.

Lakukan latihan ini secara berulang-ulang hingga bow hanya fokus mengenai senar A saja.
Setelah bow hanya fokus mengenai senar A saja, mungkin kamu akan jenuh dengan latihan ini, kamu dapat mencoba latihan gesek ini ke senar D, G, dan E.

pada awal latihan harus di senar A karena senar A merupakan senar yang posisinya paling berdekatan dengan senar D dan E. Bila akurasi tidak mulus maka akan mengenai senar D dan E.

2. Mengasah dan mengenali kemampuan menggesek awal

Pada awal menggesek biola pastinya tidak akan sehalus para pemain biola senior. Tentunya ada proses pembelajaran dari hari ke hari. Tujuan ini berguna untuk mengasah kemampuan dasar dan mengenali gesekan pada awal belajar biola.

Pada awalnya pergelangan tangan kamu masih kaku dalam bermain biola. Untuk mengefektifkan pembelajaran ini sangat disarankan untuk melatih kelenturan pergelangan tangan. Latihan kelenturan pergelangan tangan ini pasti akan terasa sangat berguna dalam proses pembelajaran.

Nicole C. Mullen A wife and mother of three, Nicole C. Mullen just happens to be one of the most inspirational communicators of our time. Her ability to captivate an audience by telling a story, sharing from the scriptures or singing a song, has earned her many awards as well as bringing her into the company of greatness. Nicole's gifts have allowed her to travel all over the world, and they have brought her many accolades. She has won multiple Dove Awards, for Song of the Year (Redeemer, and On My Knees), Female Vocalist, Contemporary Song of the Year (Call on Jesus), and the first African American to win Songwriter of the Year. She has also been nominated for two Grammy awards. Nicole has traveled with the Billy Graham Crusades, Franklin Graham, Will Graham, Luis Palau, and Women of Faith to name a few. She has shared the stage with Ambassadors, Heads of State, Dignitaries, and the President of the United States. She has sung in the Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, Mega churches and small storefronts. Her travels have lead her throughout the United States as well as overseas to places like Uganda, Australia, Rwanda, Sweden, England, Kenya, and South Africa. Still Ironically enough, Nicole declares that her favorite people of all times are "everyday, ordinary people, because that's who I am, and that's who Jesus came to redeem" Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Nicole was brought up in a family that was not only Christian, but also musical. Her grandfathers on both sides of the family were Pentecostal Preachers. She began singing at the early age of two with her Mother, Father (who sings like Nat King Cole), and her two sisters. At the age of twelve she wrote her first song. It was one of worship that declared: "as long as I live, I'll Praise your Holy Name!" Although Nicole was raised in a home full of love and support, she is no stranger to heartache and pain. She often speaks of growing up being teased and taunted by other children on the bus. They called her ‘homemade' because of the way she looked and the clothes she wore. Even then she clung to stories of Esther, the orphan girl who became Queen, and David, the shepherd boy who became King. They became her encouragement. She is quoted as saying; "the not so good old days can make you weak or make you brave." She has chosen the latter, "to be made brave". Her choice has led her to start two mentorship programs, which she is very involved in during the week. Baby Girls Club, which is a Non-Profit 501 (c) 3 Organization, mentors girls between the ages of 5-18, and teaches them the love of Christ through the arts. The second is Team NCM, which trains young guys and girls (ages 9-17) who are gifted in the arts, and provides them with outlets to showcase their talents while growing as Disciples of Jesus Christ. Prior to being married to her husband David Mullen, she was a victim of domestic violence. For three years, Nicole endured both physical and mental abuse, at the hand of her former husband. Overcoming obstacles of shame, hurt, and embarrassment, the Lord has truly empowered Nicole to be able to minister to those who are broken in spirit. She also enjoys sharing the freedom that comes through the act of forgiveness. Living on a farm, Nicole chuckles when she mentions that her parents live next door, and her in-laws live across the street. They all have different shades of skin, but the Blood of Christ unites them. They celebrate their variety of hues as one would the beauty of the rainbow. Nicole is often heard saying; "our color was never meant to become our definition, it was only intended to be a part of our description." Nicole has penned two children's books, "Black, White, and Tan," and "Baby Love", and is currently working on a book of her life's story.

            Rachma Paraamita, penulis muda berbakat ini masih bersekolah di SDN Karawaci Baru 3 kota Tangerang. Lahir di Jakarta, 29 April 2001. Karyanya yang berjudul “ I Love Cat “ berhasil memperoleh juara pada lomba KKPK (Kecil-Kecil Punya Bakat) sehingga karyanya di bukukan dalam bentuk buku kumpulan cerpen.

            Buku kumpulan cerpen yang berjudul “ I Love Cat “ ini adalah karya pertama dari Rachma Paramita. Di usianya yang masih terbilang muda, dia mampu membuat cerita-cerita pendek yang tidak kalah bagus dengan cerita-cerita  pendek yang dibuat oleh pengarang yang umurnya jauh diatasnya.

            Buku kumpulan cerpen “ I Love Cat “ secara tidak langsung membuat ketertarikan para pembacanya. Yang paling mempengaruhi adalah judulnya, yang sudah tidak asing lagi dengan anak-anak. Selain itu, bahasanya sangat mudah dimengerti. Sehingga, pembaca khusunya anak-anak dalam membaca buku kumpulan cerpen ini  mudah memahami maksud dan tujuan penulis.

            Buku kumpulan cerpen “ I Love cat “ menyajikan dua belas cerita pilihan, yaitu : Es Krim Cokelat  Madu, I love Cat, Roboreet si Robot Penyebrang Jalan, Pakaian di Lemari Alika, Pengahapus-Penghapus Lama, Petualangan di Farmer Village, Petualangan di Istana Balok, Negeri pelangi, Princess Smiley, Liburanku yang Menyenangkan, Surga di Telapak Kaki Ibu, dan My Old Harmonika.

 Diantara dua belas judul cerita ini, ada tiga cerita yang menurut saya paling menarik dan mengandung makna yang sangat baik untuk anak-anak yang membacanya. Ketiga cerita itu adalah “Penghapus-Penghapus Lama”, “Petualangan di Farmer Village”, dan “Surga di Telapak Kaki Ibu”. Cerita yang berjudul “ Penghapus – Penghapus Lama “ memiliki makna, yaitu jangan pernah kita berprasangka buruk terhadap orang yang belum kita kenal sebelumnya, karena belum tentu yang kita pikirkan sesuai dengan kenyataan yang ada. Cerita ini sangat baik dibaca karena dapat memberi pengetahuan pada pembaca khusunya anak-anak.

Di dalam cerita yang kedua yang berjudul “ Petualangan di Farmer Village” ini mengisahkan kehidupan sekelompok anak yang tidak dapat dipisahkan walaupun banyak masalah yang meninmpa mereka. Karena mereka sangat menghargai arti dari persahabatan. Dari kisah cerita ini dapat diambil makna yang dapat kita contohkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti persahabatan yang tidak ada batasnya.

Di dalam cerita yang ketiga yang berjudul “ Surga di Telapak Kaki Ibu “ ini menceritakan kisah seorang anak yang sangat berbakti kepada ibunya. Dia selalu menuruti semua perintah ibunya karena dia tahu bahwa surga berada di bawah telapak kaki ibu. Oleh karena itu, cerita ini menurut saya sangat baik untuk dibaca bagi anak-anak.        

Jika dilihat dari segi unsur intrinsikya, Rachma Paramita mengajak pembaca untuk menyatu dalam cerita yang ia berikan dengan menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama pada sebagian besar isi cerpennya. Hal itu, berhasil menghasilkan cerpen-cerpen yang kreatif.

  Setelah membaca buku kumpulan cerpen “ I Love Cat “ karya Rachma Paramita, sangat berdampak positif terhadap pembacanya dan banyak kandungan makna yang dapat dicontohkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Cerita-cerita yang ada dalam buku ini juga berbeda dengan cerita-cerita yang sebelumnya sudah saya baca. Menurut saya, cerita di dalam buku ini lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami.

Buku kumpulan cerpen ini memiliki kekurangan, diantaranya adalah penggunaan alur dan latar yang kurang jelas. Sehingga, pembaca sulit memahami isi yang ada. Terlepas dari itu semua, buku ini jauh lebih baik dari buku yang sudah pernah saya baca sebelumnya. Kekurangan yang ada hanya tinggal diperbaiki oleh pengarang agar kedepannya karya yang dihasilkan bisa lebih baik lagi.

Buku ini layak dibaca oleh anak-anak  berusia 7-10 tahun. Karena buku ini memiliki makna yang patut dicontoh untuk anak-anak seusia itu. Sebaiknya, pembaca jangan pernah meninggalkan sedikit pun dari cerita yang sudah ada karena semua cerita yang ada sangat baik untuk dibaca dan ditiru.
